Calendar for the school year 2015/2016.


Provincial Secretariat for Education, administration and national community, brought regulation about school calendar for primary schools which are placed in territory of Autonomous Province of Vojvodina for school 2015/2016. year. Tutoring and other forms of educational and pedagogical work accomplish during two semesters.

  • First semester starts on Tuesday,on 1st September 2015, and finishes on Wednesday, on 23rd December 2015. First semester has 81teaching days.
  • Second semester starts on Friday, 15th January 2016, and finishes:
    - on Wednesday, 15th June, 2016, for pupils from first to seventh grade,and it has 99 working days;
    - on Wednesday, 1st June, 2015, for pupils of eighth grade and it has 88 working days.

During the school year, pupils have winter, spring and summer holiday.

  • Winter holiday starts on Thursday 24th December, 2015, and finishes on Thursday, 14th January, 2016 year.
  • Spring holiday starts on Thursday, 24th March, 2016, and finishes on Monday,29th March, 2016.
  • Summer holiday for pupils from first to seventh class starts on Thursday, 15th June, and finishes on Wednesday, 31st August, 2016 year.
  • Summer holiday for pupils of eighth class starts after final exam, and finishes on Wednesday 31st August, 2016 year.
